【多度津町】海岸寺

空海に深いゆかりのある海岸のお寺

江戸時代に善通寺との間で空海の誕生地として論争が巻き起こった歴史のあるお寺です。
御所より「善通寺は誕生所で海岸寺は弘法大師出化初因縁の霊跡」との判決が出たほどだったようです。
大師堂は弘法大師産屋跡と伝わる場所に建っています。
境内は海と山に囲まれたとても広い場所を占めており、瀬戸内海の眺めが絶景です‼
